Make your own Mark 8 minicomputer with this PCB set consisting of 7 PCB's. 6 PCB's for the  Mark 8 minicomputer and 1x backplane board to connect the mark 8 PCB's with each other. The Mark 8 computer is seen as the first DIY computers for the electronic hobbyist. The design was published in Radio Electronics magazine July 1974 and designed by Jon Titus.

Now you can reconstruct this first computer with this PCB set where all the errors in the original PCB design are corrected. There are already made several working Mark 8 computers with this PCB set.

Before you buy this set read the documentation so you know what you are in for. You will have to get all the parts yourself, we only sell the PCB set. Most parts are easy to get, you only have to search for a 8008 CPU and the four multiplexer IC's 8263 (2x) and 8267 (2x).

The hard to get 1101A1 memory IC's can be bought here. See below this description to order these parts. You need a minimum of 8 memory IC's for a working computer and you can extend this to 1024 Bytes with 32 pieces.
